Pattern Review: “Note Taker”

Our neighbor to the North, Pink Chalk Studio, has an adorable pattern for a fabric binder.  If you have a student in your life, it’s time to make this one! The fabric binder has interior pockets for two note pads and a handful of pens and pencils.  Pink Chalk is known for their lovely, easy to read instructions and patterns, which means that even if you’re just starting out, you should be able to tackle this one without too much trouble.  If you’re using quilting weight cottons, you’ll want to use a heavy stabilizer.  We like the heavyweight Pellon iron-on interfacing.  The pattern has instructions for two sizes–a full size note pad at 10″ x 13″ and a smaller 7″ x 10″ which would be perfect for keeping a purse neatly organized.

We can’t think of a better way to keep notes and papers neatly organized for school or work.
